The Gift of Being Present

A few weeks ago we had the fortune and honor of being invited to collaborate, along with other national projects, in the second edition of Buchanan's 18 Gifting House in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco.

A space created with the intention of finding the perfect gift for any occasion, as well as being a platform to highlight the creativity, quality and talent of Mexican brands.

For this project, under the motto “the gift of being present” and in the framework of the celebration of Father's Day, we took on the task of designing and making a piece that reflected “Dad Buchanan's” through the eyes of M&L: Class, style, comfort... someone who enjoys a good drink while reading a book or listening to his favorite vinyl...

Taking inspiration from the lightness, refinement and flavour of Buchanan's, we decided to create a versatile shoe, a classic that takes us back to the time of our parents and grandparents.

Fresh for a casual outing and comfortable enough to enjoy at home.

Made from cowhide, this mule features waxed finishes that provide an interesting play of light and shadow to create the sober tones that define it. Its comfortable padded leather insole complements the construction, allowing the use of a stylized leather sole that adds the touch of quality and perfection that we seek in each of our creations.

Limited to an edition of only 40 pairs in two different shades: Whiskey and Shedron , this model can be purchased exclusively at Buchanan's 18 Gifting House within the landmark Guadalajara from today until July 25 and through the online store of American wines .
